Architecture should allow people to reconnect with nature - as it is a timeless need for physical and mental wellbeing - and express themselves through creativity with the absence of distraction.
Therefore, my thesis aims to design a series of dwellings that each amplifies an atmospheric quality of Big Sur, thereby intensifying one’s phenomenological experience and awareness with the site.
